De Divina Proportione | Exhibition
Permanent exhibition – Via Niccolò Aggiunti, 98 (Sansepolcro)
Aboca Museum launches “De Divina Proportione: myth, mystery, harmony for the new life sciences”, the museum’s new exhibition curated by Valentino Mercati
The exhibition offers a fresh perspective on the relationship between humanity and creation, spanning centuries of cultural and scientific evolution, to provide an answer to the profound questions looming over the future of the planet
The exhibition invites us to ask a crucial question: what role can human beings play today within Creation? The title refers to Luca Pacioli’s work, a Renaissance manifesto in which mathematics, beauty and nature converge in a principle of knowledge and balance
This gives rise to food for thought on our present: rediscovering a sense of proportion in our relationship with the living world, putting scientific and technological innovations at the service of understanding life, not of dominating it
